Understanding a child at this detailed level means that we can:

  • make appropriate recommendations for ways parents can help their child at home.

  • recommend how a child can be helped at childcare, pre-school or school.

Assessment may involve the use of:

  • standardised assessment tools

  • questionnaires/checklists

  • observation.

The assessment process may take up to 4 sessions, depending on the number of areas being assessed.
